Start it playing

Hold a chord. UNA does not run until it is given one, and it keeps sequencing that chord after you let go — so one finger is enough. The PLAY button on the panel stops it again.

Turn a knob

Drag it. Shift and drag presses the knob while turning, which reaches the second parameter — the cyan word above the knob; Ctrl and click holds a knob down so you can turn another one against it, and clicking it again lets go. On a touchscreen, tap Secondary or Hold below the panel first — they do the same thing. Secondary stays on, and turns every knob cyan while it is; Hold clears once you have turned something against it.

Press a button

Click it, and that is all there is to it. The two keycaps below the panel are for the knobs — a button ignores them, so you can leave one armed and still work the transport.

Choose how to play notes

The three buttons on the left: chords from a keyboard, the seven chords of a key and scale, or a chord you build note by note. Tapping the one already showing puts the panel back to full size.

Use your own keyboard

Plug in a MIDI keyboard and play — it works whatever else is on screen. The MIDI button on the left picks the device if you have more than one.
